| THE
FASCINATION OF EXOTIC SKIN
Saltwater crocodile is amongst the most expensive
and sought after exotic skins in the world, popularised by the leading
luxury goods houses in Europe, Japan and America.
The availability of farmed raised crocodiles has
enabled the revitalisation of the crocodile skin accessories market.
A crocodile management programme was established in the Northern
Territory of Australia to ensure the viability of crocodiles in
the wild and facilitated farming of the world's largest reptile.
The first crocodile farm in the Northern Territory was established
in 1980 and a number of licensed farms are now operational.
All di CROCO lined products are lined with calfskin
and fabric, with the exception of some handbag models, which are
lined with deerskin suede. |

skin products are presented in hand-woven cotton drawstring pouches,
except for the round coin purse, which comes in its own black velvet
pouch. |

Each order to be exported
from Australia will require an export permit or risk confiscation by customs
authorities. The cost of a permit is $30.00AUD. |
